Has more than 20 years of experience in the tourism development industry. She started her career as a professor teaching tourism management and economy then she decided to take additional field responsibilities by moving to a more oriented public private cooperation.
She believes strongly in the Egyptian youth capabilities therefore she dedicated the past 10 years in the development of training framework and standards by leading multiple projects as an advisor to the ministry of tourism, of industry and higher education.
Since tourism is based on multicultural exchanges and appeals to a wide international cooperation, she also put her energy to lead many Egyptian tourism initiatives within international organizations such EU, she was the Tourism Sector Manager at Technical and vocational education program (TVET II), EU and Egyptian government funded project with a budget of 15 million Euro.
Dr Soha is currently counsel to the Minister of Tourism and antiquities for training and education and the Spokesperson of the Ministry. She holds a PhD specialized in Tourism Economy.
