Dr. Aref Rashad is a Planning and Information System Consultant with a track record of more than 30 years of hands-on experience in strategic planning, business development, project management, negotiation and contracting.
Dr. Rashad has multidiscipline areas of education and training in Egypt, England and USA in the fields of Engineering, Management, Operations Research, Information Systems, Marketing and Accounting.
Dr. Rashad had Post-doctoral Studies in Business from University of Southern California, Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, M. Sc. in Operations Analysis from USA Naval postgraduate School, M. Sc. in Aeronautical Engineering from Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University and B. Sc in Mechanical Engineering from Military Technical College.
Dr. Rashad is currently acting as a Chairman of the Board for a Public-owned Company, a Consultant for Information Technology and Project Management Companies and a Visiting Lecturer in the Faculty of Information Systems and Computers, October 6 University.
Dr. Rashad acted during his professional career as a Vice President for Aviation Information Technology Company, an Executive Manager for EgyCom for Information and Communication Technology, Projects planning and Development Manager for Elsewedy Industries Group, Manager Assistant for Military Information Systems Authority and Head of Research Division for Military Operations Research Center.
